It’s going alright so far. Two good performance that includes England playing some actual football. There are no long balls here my son!

England have spent the shortest amount of time in their own half, with Only 15%
  • With 21%, England has taken the most shots in the 6-yard box. That’s 8% more than second-placed Spain.
  • England average 512 successful short-passes per game. Only 4 teams (Spain, Germany, Brazil and Argentina) average more.
  • Kieran Tripper had made on average 3.5 key passes per game. Only Kevin De Bruyne, Mesut Ozil and Joshua Kimmich have made more.
  • Minus goalkeepers and those to play less than one game, John Stones has the highest pass success rate with 97.6%. His average passes per game is also an impressive 85.
